Do you need financial support for your child’s treatment? Regardless of where you live in the world – you can count on the donors of the THANKS FOR THE HELP Foundation.
The Foundation can financially support your child’s treatment, either domestically or abroad, through its own funds and by raising money on the website www.thanksforthehelp.org.
The Thanks For The Help Foundation is a charitable organization and relies on funds from donors. Therefore, bearing in mind our collective good, the funds for medical treatment are transferred directly to the account of the Medical Facility where the treatment is being provided.
Information regarding funding and organizing medical aid fundraisers
1/ Fill out the funding application.
2/ After reviewing the application, the Foundation will contact you at the email address provided in the application and present the possibilities for financing medical aid in the form of:
a) direct financial assistance from the funds collected by the Foundation; b) conducting a fundraiser for the beneficiary on the Foundation’s website www.thanksforthehelp.org.
Before funding, the Foundation will ask you to authenticate the required medical assistance with documents such as:
a) photo/scans of an identity document;
b) scans of medical documentation, e.g.,
- hospital discharge summary,
- medical opinion,
- disability ruling,
- certificate of disability.
c/ photos of the person in need and your own text, which will be included in the fundraiser appeal to donors;
d/ a cost estimate for the child’s treatment issued by the medical facility where the child’s treatment will be conducted, e.g., estimate, invoice.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND DOCUMENTS BY MAIL.
To apply for funding or to organize a fundraiser for the Beneficiary’s treatment, the legal guardian of a sick child in need of support or with a certified disability can make the request.
Funding or conducting a fundraiser is free of charge. If the Foundation carries out a fundraiser for a specific Beneficiary, an additional 6% is added to the required funding amount, which constitutes a donation for the statutory purposes of the Foundation.
The Thanks For The Help Foundation allows fundraising on another crowdfunding website. The most important thing is to raise the full amount for treatment as quickly as possible. Remember that the „Thanks For The Help” Foundation sends money directly to the center where the treatment will be conducted. If funds are collected faster through other charitable entities, we can allocate funds for further rehabilitation and continued treatment. We can also combine funds from another foundation, as the most important thing is that we are acting for the common good.
The Thanks For The Help Foundation will notify you via email about the start and completion of the fundraiser, using the address provided in the application.
